Hi,
What time can I expect your driver to come back?
For the record - this is the 2nd Saturday delivery which you have been "unable to deliver" while I am waiting for you at my house.
Yes. The bell in the complex does not work.
No. I can't fix it (politics).
No. I can't leave any notes for your driver during order time to inform him the bell doesn't work.
Yes. You have all my contact details, so I don't understand why you can't just call me upon arrival.
I have received an SMS stating that delivery will has been rescheduled for Tuesday.
Please see the SMS timestamps. I phoned you immediatelly after you failed to deliver at 13:00.
Between 13:00 and 13:45 I called 3 times, and all three of your call centre agents assured me that my order will be re-delivered today.
At 14:40 your Mr Delivery call centre informed me that my package has been returned to the depot and an SMS confirmed that delivery has been re-scheduled for Tuesday.
This is unacceptable.
At 14:45 I called Mr Delivery who informed me that "they have no drivers" and that the order will be re-scheduled. Earliest possible delivery being tomorrow.
I am not interested in apologies or excuses, your incompetence is not my problem. You can wake up whichever manager, supervisor or CEO you need to wake up and they can get in their car and drop off my package.
If I do not receive delivery today - you can cancel this order and be assured you will never see another cent of my money again.

At 10AM this morning you set an expectation to deliver a package by 5PM.
You have another 55 minutes left. I don't accept "We don't have any drivers" as a valid excuse.
Mr Delivery operates until 9pm.
At 16:07 I contacted your callcentre. I was informed that since my last call (at 15:00) you have been unable to contact the remote branch.
You are therefore uncertain if you will be able to complete the delivery today, despite.
At 16:15 Anele called me to confirm that he has called 2x numbers for the "remote branch" and has been unable to reach anybody suggesting that internal communication within Takealot is failing.
At 16:24 Anele proposed that the delivery be scheduled for tomorrow. I am refusing.
I expect delivery today.
At 16:35 Anele informed me that he spoke to the driver, the driver informed him that "he is not going back today".
I guess if the driver is not willing to do his job, his manager should be delivering my package?

As per our phone call conversation, I have contacted the branch and they've advised that the driver is unable to do the delivery today. He insists he was at your address at the time and says he won't be able to deliver the order today.
As requested I will have the issue escalated to a manager.

I am sure that he was at my address. So was I.
You have all my contact details on record. If you are able to send me SMSs and update me on progress, you can also call me to tell me you are outside.
I also notified you of the misunderstanding 3 minutes after you "failed to deliver". Look at the creation time of this ticket: 13:02. Look at the attached image: "Failed to deliver at 12:59".
At 13:02 YOU, personally promised me that the driver will re-deliver.
At 13:30 Michaele Theunis promised me that the driver will re-deliver.
I am still waiting.
If your driver is unwilling, please advise which manager will be bringing my package.
At this rate I expect Sam Joynt or Kim Reid to personally show up at my door with an apology.
At 17:06 I contac
At 17:06 I contacted the call centre so that I could speak Ziyaad Manan (to whom this issue was escalated). I was on hold until 17:15 and was promised that Ziyaad will contact me shortly.
At 17:19 I received a phonecall (did not get the name of the person) promising to try their best to deliver my package today.
I purposefully asked for a commitment/timeline. The person was unwilling to commit "until they can find another driver.".
What I got out of this "We promise to try our very best, but we don't promise that you will get your package today."
It is 18:04. Your call centre is now closed and nobody has confirmed delivery with me yet.
Maybe I will get my package today, maybe I won't.
The suspense!
The person behind your Twitter profile was of no help either.
At 19:12 Grant contacted me to inform me that I will not be receiving my package today.
Please inform your driver to call me on arrival tomorrow. Thanks.
